The History Channel

My favorite channel to watch because they have so many good shows is the History Channel. They've done shows on topics that I really love like: The 7 Deadly Sins, Nostradamus Effect, various shows on Nostradamus or Edgar Cayce, the Apocalypse shows and shows like these. There are a lot more out there but I always keep an eye out on what they're going to do next.

George Noory & Art Bell on Radio

In the early am there is a show called Coast to Coast AM created by Art Bell many years ago. I listen to the show all the time. I subscribe to the monthly Streamlink and can listen to the show the next day. Best $6.95 I spend a month. I dont have to listen to commercials. I have drove home and listened to this show while driving from Yakima to Goldendale and its kind of scary to listen to. It's like I'll purposely try to scare myself like a silly scaredy cat. George Noory and Art Bell are my favorite hosts. They just have the voices and the personality.

Ghost Hunters on Sci Fi Channel

Probably one of my favorite shows about Ghost hunting is the Ghost Hunters. It is such a great show. I mean they don't try to purposely show that there is something. Every show they don't always show something ghostly. If the evidence is there then the evidence is there. Jason and Grant even have a magazine I would like to subscribe to. HOpefully they just get big enought where I can get it the magazine aisle. :)

Fate Magazine

This is an old magazine that discusses topics like UFO's, missing time, seeing alien, NDE's, personal experiences shared by readers and many other fascinating stories. It's such a great find. They used to publish every month but now they do it every other month cover Jan/Feb March/April and so forth. It is well worth the subscription.

Where to sit

David and I only have one couch. WHen the family comes over I need plenty of seating. Plus, if they're spending a night I need lots of blankets and pillows for downstairs too. We have lots of kitchen chairs they can sit on though. But if you're having a movie night and you're lounged on your couch all sprawled out comfortably and look over at your guest sitting on the hardwood seat you kind of feel terrible. Usually, to solve this i put a bunch of blankets on the floor so they can lie down too. Or when Jaye and Tabitha came over they brought their air mattress to lie down on. It's easy for bar b q's- bring lawn chairs, movies, they have plenty of seating and so forth. :)

Drinks

When choosing a drink to have with our snacks we have to have the ultimate drink too. I like to have diet cokes with lemonades, strawberry smoothies, chocolate banana smoothies, plain banana smoothies, iced water, peach tea, plain diet cokes, chocolate milk and the occasional Safeway flavored waters or strawberry drink/organge juice and 7UP..really delicous. One time I had some of my family come over for Davids birthday and I didn't think they'd show up but we got a small cake, ice cream and didn't have anything to drink. I like to keep diet cokes around all the time. Our water is nice so there's plenty of that to have any time. Except at the office. I dont like to drink the water that's at the office. You shouldn't taste your water. It should be plain and not have some weird smell either. Poor RV folks drinking that water. I think it makes them crazy! Well could explain a few things happening down there at the RV park. LOL :)

The Bad Girls Club

This show is funny. I really don't know how they find these girls but they sure do a good job at finding them. It reminds me of putting a bunch of lions with chickens sometimes. You have to keep fighting and fighting! The girls can be pretty sometimes, get jealous of one another, have done very mean things to each other, have had multiple partners and are very funny sometimes.

The Middle

Patricia Heaton was on Jimmy Kimmel Live one night and if she didn't go on that show I never would have started watching that show. She explained what the show was and then I happened to watch it one night and did think it was funny. THe daughter is hillarious and the other two kids are as well but I can weirdly identify with the daughter like being awkward and corny.

Jersy Shore

I find myself really liking this show. I mean it's just funny and silly how they can put a camera on them while they go out to party, drink, have dinner together and so forth. I like to see who fights next and who sleeps with next. What a weird form of entertainment. The reality shows of cameras set in a room where people are living together and sometimes don't even like each other. It kind of seemed foreign at first. I didn't even know what a quido was actually. I like their cheesy accents, dark tans, short tempers, mulitiple partners and funny hook ups. I thought it was silly for the called the sweetest B**** you'll ever know to get mad at Snooki and JWoww for writing the letter. I mean she kept asking tell me tell me and then when they do they get all pissed. Plus, I felt bad Vinny got turned down by that one girl. Hello Vinny she's a stripper at a nightclub. I mean you called her classy but she was just a pretty statue to look at. It wouldn't have lasted anyways.

Food Trays

Food plays an important part in our entertainment. Where is the best place to have buffet, where are we going to eat tonight, where should we go before a ball game, the popcorn during movies, the food we'll serve for our own party and stuff like that. It's all a huge part of what we'd like to have when we're trying to entertaining ourselves.

Gambling

Another form of entertainment that I actually have to go to Gamblings Anonymous for one day is gambling. I dont know about gambling but I find this fun. Lately though I become angry, frustrated, depressed and pissed off because I lose my money and get all crazy when I lose all my money. I always blame others for my mistakes too and thats my dummy part of me not taking full responsibilty for my actions.

Music Downloads

Isn't it neat how you download a song and put it on your IPOD in a flash? I haven't bought a CD in ages. I like going through ITUNES and just making playlists all the time. Plus, it in the past when I bought a CD I only liked a couple songs most of the time out of a whole CD that I bought. This is my favorite part about the world of entertainment changing. CD's would be ridiculously high and I'd have to buy a lot of music all the time. That got really expensive. Now, I can just buy a few songs. The ones that I really liked. I still make CD's and even got rid of making tapes because my car has a CD player. I still have the music tapes though.

VCR, DVD Player, BLu Ray Player, DVR, Netflix, Movie Rentals it goes on!

Growing up a VCR was like $300-$400 I swear. It was just ridiculous. I remember having a remote too that was attached to the VCR. Talk about old school. Now you can get a DVD and VCR in one. Plus, movie rental business is getting out of tune like the Blockbusters because people are going through different means to rent movies. There are special devices you can buy like the Wii where you can instantly watch Netflix movies through this device. Or you can rent a Redbox movie for a dollar but actually $1.18 with tax but still better than the $5 movie rental or $8 for a new movie rental. Oh and you don't have to pay for those stupid late fees anymore either with Netflix. I love Netflix. I use it myself and get the two movies at a time choice. How time has changed. We also have DVR where we can record our favorite TV shows and even fast forward through the million or so commercials. I love fast forwarding through commercials. I mean after you skim the commercials you save a lot of time watching shows. Oh how time has certainly changed. Thanks Netflix, DVR and tv & show makers! :)

Gary Oldman

The Professional, True Romance, The Fifth Element, Dracula and The Book of Eli are some of my favorite movies by Gary Oldman. I love his range of characters he can play and his ability to make a huge impact in a movie.

Three's Company

I really remember the neighbor who always flirted with Jack and would seem horny all the time. She kind of reminded me of Elvira. I liked the way she would all agressive. Plus, I like the way Mr. Furley would do his silly bug eyes. THis was a really good show.

The Shining- FIRST SCARY MOVIE

I was too young to see this movie but my brother Jaye told me the story about going to see the movie. I wanted to be with dad and my brothers went to go see some other movie and I was supposed to go see that movie. I was like no I want to be with dad. He was going to go see "The Shining" and I didn't know this was some scary ass show. After seeing the movie I had to sleep with my older brothers for like two or three weeks. From then on though my brothers fed onto my weakness of being a chicken and started scaring me once mom went to work. They would lock me in the room and tell me there was someone in the closet coming after me. I would be screaming on the top of my lungs scared as all get out. Goes with having four older brothers!

Cindy Crawford

Just like Madonna, I was a huge Cindy Crawford fan. I had to have every magazine by her and every picture of her when she was in a magazine. I just loved that she had a mole like me. Plus she seemed like this gorgeous cocoa queen. I seriously still have a lot of her pictures. She is my fave model of all time. There's this weird phenomena about models. They have this statuesque thing going where you can stare at them like some weird freak. Not sexually but because they're so beautiful there's this level of intrigue. Models on TV though lately you see they have social issues, eating disorders, drug history and mental breakdowns. Not all but a great majority of them. It's kind of weird what they'll show about not just actors but the models too.

Madonna

Growing up I absolutely loved Madonna. I still like her but back then I'd have to have her CD and all the singles she came out with that were all dance singles. I even had her black and white poster where she has a cigarette in her mouth and has no clothes on. I even got her SEX book but mom had to get it for me because I wasn't old enough to get it yet. I'd even have to have books by her like I was some crazy fan. She is a beautiful singer and has lots of great songs out there. HOnestly, where would the world be without "Like a Virgin" , "Vogue" , "La Isla Bonita" , "Music" and a lot of her other classics?

Sylvester Stallone

Just like Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone is another huge action actor that I really love watching. He's done Rocky, Rambo and other action shows. Oh yeah Tango and Cash is another really good show he did. I love action and I love it when they're not the same character all the time.

Arnold Schwarzenegger

A lot of people love all the Terminators, Predators and Conans. I sure did. The only time I wanted to be a badass male was I was watching any of his movies. They're full of action and will always be classics.

Tina Turner, The Judds and Laverne Baker

There is always some songs or some singers that remind you of someone. Well there are three singers that will always remind me of my mom. That is Laverne Baker, The Judds and Tina Turner. Mom when she was younger she'd like to listen to them while she was cleaning. Songs from them always remind me of mom. She doesn't listen to music as much as she used to, but when she did this is what she liked to listen to a lot.

Family Ties

Another great classic was Family Ties. This show was good to me too. We used to watch this show all the time too. The little girl was cute. Michael J. Fox was way good in this show too.

The Cosby Show

Everyone has at least one episode that you remember watching growing up. Mine was when they were all singing an old song and the girls on the show were on the stairs with a mic. I think that was my favorite. Another one was when they were trying to guess the ethnicity of one of their friends that were over. Growing up we used to watch this show all the time. I loved Bill Cosby and his funny face that he did all the time.
